For A.S.S.E.MI. – Azienda Sociale Sud Est Milano – we carried out a technical and documentary assessment to support the occupation and operational use of its new premises in San Giuliano Milanese. The engagement arose from the need to verify that the spaces, building systems and documentation provided by the Municipality were suitable for the intended activities and compliant with the occupational health and safety requirements established by Legislative Decree 81/2008. The work began with a site inspection and a non-instrumental assessment of the condition of the premises and building systems. At the same time, we met with the
organisation’s representatives to understand the activities to be carried out at the premises, the number and profile of users, and the resulting technical, building and systems requirements. We then analysed the available documentation, assessing its completeness, consistency and correspondence with the actual characteristics of the building. At the end of the engagement, we prepared a technical report setting out our opinion on the suitability of the premises and systems, the deficiencies identified and the actions required to address any gaps. The work enabled the client to approach the relocation with greater confidence, supported by a clear understanding of the property’s condition and the measures required for its safe occupation and use.
