For MUDEC in Milan, working alongside Studio EnerGi, we developed the design required to integrate new electrical loads within the exhibition area. The project involved incorporating additional building systems requirements into an operational museum environment characterised by spaces used for changing exhibitions, technological equipment and different modes of public use. The work began with an analysis of the loads to be supplied, the characteristics of the existing electrical system and the constraints associated with the exhibition spaces.
Working in collaboration with Studio EnerGi, we defined the technical solutions required to integrate the new loads, verify the correct electrical distribution and ensure appropriate levels of protection, reliability and operational continuity. The design was developed taking into account not only immediate technical compliance, but also the flexibility required by a museum environment subject to changing exhibitions and configurations. The result was a solution that made the new electrical connections available in a structured and safe manner, preserving the functionality of the exhibition area and facilitating the future management and development of the systems.
